B*CURED was founded in 2008 by Melissa Salamé and Debbie Needle.
Melissa Salamé has financial services and hospital fundraising experience
and currently runs her own jewelry design company. Debbie Needle has a background
in television production as well as fashion design and merchandising and
currently manages her own interior design business.
They both hold various Board positions and have done extensive fundraising.
Both Melissa and Debbie have lost a parent to brain cancer.
