ING NYC Marathon - Thank you supporters!
With YOUR generosity and our stellar B*CURED runners, we raised an unprecedented $70,000 for brain cancer research this year at the NYC marathon. WOO HOO!! Because of you, we are able to award an additional B*CURED research grant this year. (Our grants fund investigators looking into innovative approaches to treating and ultimately, CURING, brain cancer).
Our outstanding team - Blake, Dick, Elisabeth, Gareth, Honour, Lee, Matthew, Mike, Peter, Tara - killed it on Sunday, November 6th. With grueling training schedules and finish times of 3:13, 3:22, 3:23...(holy smokes!) we are blown away and we could not be more proud of their hard work and dedication.
Thank you ALL for making the chance for a cure closer to a reality.
